Heather Moreau
Physiotherapy AssistantSpeaks: EnglishHeather graduated from the OTA/PTA program at Centennial college, Toronto in 2011. She had worked for 10 years in long term care (LTC) before she made the transition to our clinic in 2022. She has loved it since! She enjoys meeting new people, hearing their stories and helping them with their physiotherapy treatment. During her off time, she enjoys staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kinesiologist (Regulated)Speaks: EnglishMichelle Pauze
Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishMichelle is a lifetime Midlander and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2015.
She loves helping people and finding the ways that Massage Therapy can help everyone. Her professional focus to date has been Geriatric and Palliative Massage Therapy and Functional Aging.
Community is important to her. She volunteers at the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, coaches hockey for the North Simcoe Girls Hockey Association; and she belongs to the Midland Area Pickleball Club.
She loves cheering for the Blue Jays in the summer and the Canadiens in the winter.
She is looking forward to joining the Midland Physiotherapy Team of professionals and more importantly, looks forward to meeting you.
Sarath Krishnan Kizhakke Thiruvath
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: English, Tamil, Hindi, MalayalamSarath believes in an active approach to rehabilitation with an emphasis on patient education. With every patient he customizes a tailored treatment plan to help them achieve maximal functional independence. Sarath treats a variety of patient ages and conditions; from older to younger clients with both acute and chronic injuries. His main areas of interest includes musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
Sarath completed a Master of Physiotherapy from RGUHS in 2011 and has Level 1 Selective Functional Movement Assessment training. In his spare time, Sarath enjoys playing soccer and taking long hikes outdoors. He is also in the process of learning how to ski.
Casey Cadeau
Occupational TherapistSpeaks: EnglishCasey received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from McMaster University in 2017, as well as a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (Honours degree) at Queen's University in 2015. Casey has continued her postgraduate education by successfully completing the ImPACT trained Occupational Therapist program, the Concussion Management workshops level 1 and 2 through Concussion Rehab Works Inc., and various educational courses regarding wheelchair prescription. She has obtained certificates in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Motivational Interviewing (MI). She has also obtained her authorizer status with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) for mobility devices, through the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC).
Casey strives to provide a higher standard of one-on-one care that is effective, efficient, and motivating. Her focus is on providing client-centered care, by respecting the client's expertise in their own experience and allowing her clients to direct the focus of their sessions. Casey has experience in multiple areas of practice, including concussion care, mental health, home safety, older adult care, environmental accessibility, motor vehicle accidents, case management, palliative care, mobility assessment and prescription, and ergonomics. Casey is committed to putting her clients' needs first and advocating for them.
While attending Queen's University, Casey was selected to participate in the Athletic Therapy mini-stream program and worked as a student trainer for the Queen's varsity football team for three years. She travelled with the team and provided support during both practices and games. She supported the players with both preventative care, as well as urgent on-field care.In her spare time, Casey now enjoys DIY projects around her home, and trying out new recipes. She is keen to help people achieve their goals and support them along their individual journeys.

Our Philosophy
Midland Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation - pt Health specializes in physiotherapy, occupational therapy and massage therapy for all types of clients. We provide rehabiliation services for motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical conditions, work-related (WSIB/employer) injuries, private patients, long-term disability and eligible Community Funded (OHIP) clients. Our goal is to provide quality care to help each individual return to maximal function with a client centred approach as quickly as possible.
The Clinic
Our physiotherapy and rehab clinic has been in this Midland location since 2012. We have a large well-equipped gymnasium for therapeutic exercise programs. The facility is 2500 square feet and is located entirely at street level.
Equipment includes a treadmill, upright bicycle, recumbent bicycles, large multi-gym, free weights, exercise balls and balance training aides.
There are three private treatment rooms, a massage therapy room, and an open nine bed treatment area for our physiotherapy and specialty services.

The clinical staff includes:

- One registered Occupational Therapist
- One registered Massage Therapist
- One registered Kinesiologist
- One Physiotherapy Assistant
The clinic provides a number of assessment services including Functional Capacities Evaluations (FCE), Assistive Device Program assessments, and assessments for return-to-work or treatment planning.
We can also provide vestibular care, acupuncture services, bracing, and custom orthotics. Custom orthotics are provided by a registered physiotherapist.
Our clinic offers OHIP-funded physiotherapy services. Funding is provided through the Ontario Community Physiotherapy Program. Patients that meet the criteria for acceptance can be treated at this clinic.

Your treatment may be partially or fully covered if you have extended health benefits, a worker's compensation claim, or were injured in a motor vehicle accident.
