  • Magesh Ellappan
    Physiotherapist

    Magesh has more than 15 years of hands-on experience as a practicing Physiotherapist. He prides himself in his ability to interact with clients of all age groups, from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences while providing multidisciplinary care in both acute and chronic phases of rehabilitation in Orthopedic, Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Sports conditions.

    Magesh completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 1996 and Master’s degree in 2006 with an elective for Sports Physiotherapy from the Dr. MGR Medical University, India. Magesh is enthusiastic and a passionate practitioner in Physiotherapy with a thirst to learn and a mindset for continuous improvement. He has upgraded himself in advanced hands-on manual techniques periodically and is on-going.



  • Terelle Coe
    Physiotherapist

    Terelle, our Clinic Director here at Bowmanville Physiotherapy, graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011 with her Master's of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, Terelle completed an honours degree in Health Sciences at The University of Western Ontario in London. Since graduating, Terelle has completed courses in medical acupuncture, basic taping practices, has completed her Level 1 manual therapy and recently has begun performing specialty assessments within the Ontario Workers Network.

    Terelle has a keen interest in sports medicine, and is an active individual involved in running, golfing and working out. She thrives on both her communication skills and passion for manual therapy and cannot wait to help you reach all of your rehabilitation goals!



  • Emily Arsenault
    Massage Therapist

    Emily is a registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2021, where she exceeded her practical experience requirements.

    Emily has always had a passion for working with the human body, as she grew up dancing and attended a post-secondary program for dance performance before getting into massage therapy. Before working as an RMT, Emily spent time working as a Physiotherapist Assistant with Lifemark.

    When Emily is not in the clinic, you will find her in the dance studio, in the kitchen cooking, or checking out a trendy coffee shop!



  • Brendy Jeffers
    Physiotherapist

    Speaks: English

    Brendy graduated from Queen's University in 2019 with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to her Master's program, she graduated from Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. She takes pride in her ability to connect with clients and help them reach their goals. She has recently completed her Level 1 manual therapy certification, as well as training in basic taping techniques and active and soft tissue release. Brendy is continuously looking to enhance her skills and grow as a practitioner.

    She grew up as a competitive dancer and played a variety of sports. Brendy is enthusiastic about working out and traveling and would love to be a part of your rehabilitation journey.

Our Philosophy

Our clinic is determined to help you get well and stay well. 

The Clinic

Opening in 1995, Bowmanville Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine was the first of all pt Health clinics. Originally located in downtown Bowmanville, the clinic is now conveniently situated just west of the 401 Waverly exit.

Our open concept clinic offers a private massage therapy room and physiotherapy room along with additional treatment zones in the clinic's main area. Offering both modalities and active rehabilitation programs, our clinic utilizes IFC machines, ultrasound and moist heat as well as variety of gymnasium equipment. Our therapists are dedicated to helping our patients achieve and surpass their treatment goals to help them get back to doing the activities that they love.
