The esteemed 2009 RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Awards Program aims to recognize the achievements and contributions of Canada’s women entrepreneurs, not only to national and global economies but more importantly, to their local communities.
Wendy Neidhardt, a member of PT Health, was among the finalists for the BELL Trailblazer Award, one of the categories in the program. She is the proud founder of Advantage Health, which developed from a stand-alone rehabilitation center into comprehensive medical centers which offer dental and optical services as well as family physician services. The clinics also offer Physiotherapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Personal Training, Sports Physician as well as retail goods.
Wendy is also the incumbent Chair for the Private Practice Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and she helps other physiotherapy private business owners across Canada.
Women entrepreneurs are becoming one of the fastest growing segments in business today. Moreover, it is also great to have Physiotherapy recognized as a business and that PT clinic owners are seen as real entrepreneurs in the business world.
Our warmest congratulations to Wendy and all the women entrepreneurs who have made a difference not only in the financial arena but also in helping other people live better lives.
